Enchanting Forest by Forests Without Frontiers

Forests Without Frontiers (FWF) is a Brighton-based non-profit organisation whose mission is to use the power of music and art to bring nature back to life and people back to nature. Founded in 2019, FWF has supported planting 180,000 Romania and the UK, regenerated 30 hectares of degraded land, and hosted many community, arts and educational events. We also created a multi-media art project Interbeing co- creating with folk musicians in Romania near our project restoration site, which won Cambridge University’sEndangered Landscapes Programme’s Artist Award.

What is Enchanting Forest?

Enchanting Forest is FWF’s latest project, driven by our guiding principles Restore, Nurture and Inspire. It follows the concept of Interbeing, and will be created in Sussex, highlighting the beauty of its landscape and the environmental threats it faces.

FWF is headquartered in Sussex and is deeply connected to our home county’s varied landscape of woodlands, hills and coast. Much has been lost, however, and many people feel disconnected from their surroundings, leading to poor social, mental, and environmental health.
